Book-Keeping - Data entry

The data entry in book-keeping is through batches which can be posted to the ledger. These batches cover opening balances, invoices, receipts/payments, credit notes and journals.

Each batch of transactions can be edited without any effect on the ledger or any reports. When checked, the batch can be posted to the ledger after which no changes are allowed to the batch unless the batch is unlocked by a user with suitable permissions.

In the same manner as other modules of Pinacle the data entry screen can have ‘locked’ fields which customise the screen to speed up data entry.
